Free Open Pairs Competition Comes to Leigh RUFC
Bowls, rugby and a fantastic festival atmosphere are coming together at Leigh RUFC
this September, as Esselle Bowling teams up with DMR Training for a very special community event.
On Saturday 5 September, Esselle will be hosting a FREE Open Pairs Bowling Competition as part of DMR Training's Beyond the Final Whistle festival at Leigh RUFC.
And while entry won't cost you a penny, there's a fantastic prize up for grabs!

The winning pair will receive free entry for two to our Blackpool Illuminations Bowling Festival, a prize worth £700.
The Open Pairs competition gets underway at 9.00am, with play taking place throughout the day before the tournament finals at 3.00pm.
Places are limited, so if you'd like to take part, make sure you get your entry in early.
More than just a bowling competition
If you've never played bowls before, this is a great opportunity to give it a try.
Alongside the competition, we'll be offering social bowling and introductory lessons, giving friends, family and newcomers the chance to get on the green, have a go and discover just how enjoyable our game can be.
And there's plenty happening away from the green too.
Created by DMR Training in partnership with Leigh RUFC, Beyond the Final Whistle is a community festival bringing together sport, skills, local businesses, families and organisations for a full day of activity and opportunity.
The festival opens to the public at 10.00am, with tag rugby, the Opportunity Village and family entertainment throughout the day. Later, Leigh RUFC will take on Orrell RUFC, followed by guest speakers, awards, networking and an evening after party.
There will also be food and refreshments available on site, making it a great day out whether you're competing, supporting, trying bowls for the first time or simply coming along to enjoy the atmosphere.
