Esselle Sports is excited to share the latest news from one of the UK’s most celebrated Crown Green events — the Isle of Man Bowling Festival, returning in 2026 with two

five-day tournaments.

Bowlers can mark their calendars for 15–19 June 2026 and 07–11 September 2026, as the Island once again hosts its historic twice-yearly festival, first established in 1921.

Recognised as one of the best and most inclusive events in the UK bowling calendar, each festival boasts a prize fund of £19,000, drawing players from across the country.

Competitions include men’s and women’s singles, mixed pairs, as well as tourism and consolation events. The format guarantees four days of play for every competitor, even if results don’t go to plan - ensuring a rewarding experience for both contenders and social bowlers.

The festivals take place across Douglas, with past tournaments — including the recent 55th anniversary event at Nobles Park — demonstrating the Island’s enduring passion for the sport.
